The idea of the mask visually represents the performance of the otherness. It also provides nuances, non-visual forms, of this alterity.
Identity is intertwined with family & social roles and the labels others choose for you. The masks allow me to play different roles, to feel empowered and dominated by their influence.
A critical piece. A farce. An aesthetic exercise. The spectator is free to use the label of its preference to answer the question: Who is the person in the pictures?
