The fold, from Deleuze’s interpretation, holds the potential to differ as the original and ongoing movement of the cosmos. The concept of a folding body from a worldly or even aesthetic perspective allows the viewer to reconsider and to “flexibilize” (influence) what it sees.
In “Folding Bodies”, a naked body becomes an abstract shape, an amorphous creature, a tale, a concept. Nothing is “intrinsic,” only within infinite points of views. The subject is always in the process of becoming.
