Poem: Bloom

Poem - Bloom

Bloom

Blood blooming
Blood bleeding
Blood dancing between the legs
Bright and thick
Carrying definitions of life and death
When the egg is rotten, it also becomes
A tale that defies the fiction of being a woman

Another growth is inside your body
In a medusoid phase
The doctor shows me this picture
– It’s supposed to be my womb –
An abstract image
black and white
A monotonous shade

~ Becoming ~
~ Blooming ~
~ Bleeding ~

The abyss will welcome the needle
To remove or to put in?
Perhaps the process goes in backwards
The real woman is inside me
In the shape of this amorphous mass
Trying to get out
Bleeding for help
